We can’t say for sure, but there probably aren’t many of us. But then again, it is hard to tell. You can’t see it just by looking at us. You can’t simply hear it when we talk. We often don’t want you to know, and that’s probably for the best anyway. We don’t like for our struggle to burden those around us. But wouldn’t it be nice for us to have a place of our own? Where anonymity removes that burden and we can talk openly as who we really are? Where our illness can be understood and all that comes with it be accepted? FreeTraderBeowulf is a place for high functioning adults who struggle with severe mental illness to come be themselves. Loosely based on Lev Grossman’s The Magicians, we want to grow a small and tight knit community of intelligent, interesting people who will understand each other in a way most of the world simply cannot. If you are one of these people, then you know how hard it is to find more of our kind. Let’s make that easier by creating this new home. To be honest, there isn’t much else to say. If you are one of the few we are trying to find, you already know by now. Welcome aboard. Well, actually, one more thing. We made some witchin’ awesome emojis if you are into that kind of thing! After all, we do still have fun here
